Introducing AIDA Youth Courses - Dive into a World of Safe Fun!

At Freedive Baja, we're excited to present our AIDA Youth Courses, specially crafted for children and adolescents who are eager to explore the underwater world in a safe and enjoyable way. Developed in collaboration with the AIDA Education Committee, the Medical Committee, the Youth Commission, and AIDA instructors from around the globe, these courses aim to teach essential water skills and safety to the younger generation.

Courses Tailored for Every Age Group

Our AIDA Youth Program consists of four courses: Bronze Dolphin, Silver Dolphin, Gold Dolphin (ages 6 to 11), and AIDA Junior (ages 12 to 15). Each Dolphin course spans at least three days, while AIDA Junior takes at least four days. These courses focus on building in-water confidence and building diving skills like breath and buoyancy control, duck diving, and finning.

Safety and Education at the Core

Safety is our priority. The AIDA Youth Program has been designed with a conservative approach, considering anatomical, physiological, and mental differences between children and adults. Our courses emphasize parental education, ensuring that adults are informed supervisors in aquatic activities.

Informed Adults for Safer Water Activities

We understand that informed adults play a pivotal role in children's safety. That's why our courses educate parents and guardians about proper supervision. We believe that compassion, understanding, care, and connection are equally essential, and these values guide the way we deliver course material to both children and parents.

Skill-Oriented Approach

Unlike a training-centered approach, our courses adopt a skill-oriented one. This shift in focus removes performance measurements and competitiveness, allowing instructors to concentrate on enhancing the child's learning experience.

What Kids Will Learn

Our courses cover a range of skills, from floating, swimming, and using gear to survival strokes, water safety signals, and diving techniques. As children progress, they'll learn line diving, equalization, and other advanced skills.

Join us and let your child embark on a journey of safe and exciting underwater exploration. Our AIDA Youth Courses are designed to nurture a lifelong love for the water while ensuring their safety every step of the way. Enroll your child today and let them dive into a world of fun and learning!
